About the Author
Dave Isay�is the founder of StoryCorps and the recipient of numerous broadcasting honors, including six Peabody awards, a MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship, and the 2015 TED Prize. He is the author/editor of numerous books that grew out of his public radio documentary work, including four StoryCorps books:�Listening Is an Act of Love�(2007),�Mom: A Celebration of Mothers from StoryCorps�(2010),�All There Is: Love Stories from StoryCorps�(2012), and�Ties That Bind: Stories of Love and Gratitude from the First Ten Years of StoryCorps�(2013).

Just a Collection of Personal Accounts

It's an easy, enjoyable read, but I didn't find myself emotionally engaged in the book as they were just brief accounts without any real ah-ha moments that provided insight into how to find one's purpose.

Love And Unwavering Life Support !

I love reading about the 'back story' how regular folks are able to 'move forward' in their lives no matter the sometimes difficult 'road-block' situations come their way .
The love and support the authors of each story shined the light they sometimes need to keep moving their life forward !
I so identify with this 'spirited ' journey !

Great, insightful book

I read it on kindle and immediately bought a book for each of my sons. The stories cover the spectrum of jobs and paths that different people found meaning in. Loved it.
